![[DREAM: GLADIATOR IN ANCIENT ROME] {
I am in some situation where the secret service is after me. Some agent comes,
but I have super powers. I am quick and brutal. While running, I shoot him
3 times in the head with a pistol. Worried that the noise might have alarmed
more forces, I decide to do a more or less random time jump.
I land in Ancient Rome, in the Colosseum. I am a gladiator, standing in that
great arena. I am unarmed, the plan is that some other gladiator, in armor and
with a shield shall kill me for their pleasure.
He comes closer, for the attack. But I still have my magical superpowers. Using
telekinesis, I rip his sword out of his hand, let it fly in a curve. A bit
like a massive boomerang. It hits him in the chest, penetrating the armor.
Gladiator dead. The crowd is silent in shock.
They bring in a larger group of new gladiators. All armed, maybe 20 or 25 in
number. They are about 100 meters away, but marching swiftly towards me. I do
the same: Use telekinesis on their weapons and kill the gladiators. Just as I
did with the first one. The crowd becomes fearful, starts to leave the
Colosseum. I look to the Cesar's seat, but he has fled as well. Some guards
have remained and I tell them: "I want that guy, too."
Scene cut.
I am down in the dungeons and a dungeon master whips me. I use my magical powers
to punish him for that. I cripple his dominant left hand. He drops the whip,
looks at his hand and screams in despair. I tell him: "You want your hand back?
Then do as I say." I command him to find the guy with the keys and free _all_
gladiators and slaves from the dungeon.
Scene cut.
I am upstairs, in a more posh part of the colosseum. There is a security alarm
about to go off. I am a bit worried what that will bring. There is a
(very anachronistic) digital count-down timer in the Marble wall, ticking
down. I try to set the timer to something like 15 minutes or so, to buy some
time. But it doesn't work. The timer always goes back to its ticking down
below 2 minutes now. I sense that there must be a source of counter-magic
somewhere.
I close my eyes, make a grabbing motion with my hand towards that timer and
follow an invisible magical connection. I find something. Something spherical
that I cannot see. I let it explode, so that I even can hear a loud "pop"
from above. I follow the stairs into a large chamber and find a huge pedastal.
It is easily 5 to 10 meters high. Up there must be the source. I fly up to the
top of the pedestal and find a huge, black spider. It's body is large like that
of a big dog, it is shaped more or less like a tarantula (not super disgusting)
and completely black.
The spider sits there, powerless, as I have obviously destroyed it's magic
source. I kick it from the pedestal. It falls down and crawls away.
Scene cut.
I am back at the dungeon's entrance. The guy with the keys is sitting there,
idly contemplating. I check the cells, all are empty, doors open. I go back
to the "Keys Guy" and say to him: "You did well. Where is the whip guy?"
I find "Whip Guy" with his crippled hand. He looks at me, fearful. I heal his
hand, to his amazement. He looks at me with a mix of gratitude and disbelief.
He did not expect me to keep my word and his hand is now good as new.
The dream continues. I get some support: A few weapon specialist guys come in
and bring me modern-day pistols and automatic rifles. It looks like I won't need
them, because nothing here seems to match my power. But just in case...
Smiling and calm, we load our guns with high-caliber ammo.
